Douglas Dalziel Leverton died on Thursday 22 August 1918, Age 19, and was buried in BOUZINCOURT RIDGE CEMETERY, ALBERT, Somme, France.

He was born on Bentinck Street on 13th January 1899, and was the son of Henry and Helen Leverton. Henry Leverton was a Coal Miner, and both he and his wife were natives of Scotland. By 1918, Mrs Leverton was living at 71 Kirby Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham.
