Jack Leverton died on Thursday 26 October 1916, Age 21, and was buried in BAPAUME POST MILITARY CEMETERY, ALBERT, Somme, France.

He was born on 16th February 1895, on New Cross Street. His parents were Thomas and Annie Leverton. Thomas Leverton was a Hosiery Factory Hand. At the time of Jack's death, they were living at 22 Bath Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. Nottingham.
