Albert Marriott died on Monday 7th August 1916, aged 23, and was buried at HEILLY STATION CEMETERY, MERICOURT-L'ABBE, Somme, France.
He was born c1892 at Sutton-in-Ashfield to parents Walter & Mary Marriott. Walter Marriott was a Coal Miner, who married Mary Ann Burton at St Mary, Sutton, in April 1890. In 1900 the family were living on St Michael Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Albert Marriott was engaged to be married.
