News of a missing Soldier - Towards the end of July, Mrs Miller of 60, Morley Street, received official news that her husband, Private Joseph Miller, of the Hampshire Regiment, was missing. Nothing further was heard until a day or two ago, when Mrs Miller received a letter from her husband, stating that he had been wounded in the hand and was a prisoner in Germany. Although her husband could be in better hands, Mrs Miller's anxiety was greatly relieved on receiving the news that he was alive and getting on fairly well.
