Wilfrid Edmund Millership died on Sunday 22 April 1917, Age 29, and was buried in the MAPLE LEAF CEMETERY, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.
He was born at Nottingham c1888, and was the son of Edmund and Ann Eliza Millership. Edmund Millership was a Steel Fitter and a native of West Bromwich, Staffs, while his wife was originally from Codnor Park, Derbys. The family moved to Sutton-in-Ashfield around 1895, and were still living in the town in 1901. In 1917 the family were living at 6 Portland Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
His brother, Bernard Millership, of the 10th 1/5th Sherwood Foresters was awarded the Military Medal. (As reported in the Notts Free Press 11th January 1918)
