Fred Morley died on 28th March 1918, aged 24 years, and was remembered on the ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.

He was born on 26th June 1893 on Outram Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, to parents Arthur & Elizabeth Morley. Arthur Morley was a Coal Miner who married Elizabeth Dove at St Mary, Sutton, in February 1893.

Frederick Morley was the step-brother of Archie Dove, who is also listed on the Sutton-in-Ashfield War Memorial. Fred is also mentioned in Archie Dove's obituary as being missing in action.
