Arthur Newstead died on Sunday 27th February 1916, Age 26, and was buried in BAILLEUL COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION (NORD), Nord, France.
He was born on 30th April 1891 on Hardwick Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield. He was the son of George Newstead and Rosamond Harriet (formerly Simms), both natives of Sutton-in-Ashfield, who married at St Mary's Church, Sutton-in-Ashfield in April 1878. At the time of Arthur's death they were living at 15 Hardwick Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
Arthur Newstead was also the husband of Mrs Florence May Newstead.

Harriet Newstead, who died from wounds received in Action on February 18th 1916,
and died on February 26th , aged 24 years.*
