John Parkin died on Wednesday 25 April 1917, Age 20, and was buried in MONT HUON MILITARY CEMETERY, LE TREPORT, Seine-Maritime, France.

He was the son of Mr William Parkin (deceased) and Mrs. E. A. Parkin, (who had remarried as Mrs Orridge), of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
