Edwin Pepper died on Saturday 21 September 1918, Age 27, and was buried at UNICORN CEMETERY, VEND'HUILE, Aisne, France.
He was born c1891 at Sutton-in-Ashfield, and was the son of Elijah and Elizabeth Hannah Pepper. Elijah Pepper was a Tailor and a native of Gotham, Notts, while his wife was born in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
In 1918, the family lived at 109 Mansfield Road, but they later moved to 6 Deepdale Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
