Samuel Alma Pryme died on 11th July 1916, aged 30 years, and was remembered on the THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France.
He was born on 11th August 1886 on Quarry Yard, Sutton, to parents Samuel Alma and Hannah Pryme. Samuel Alma Prime Snr. was a Coal Miner, and a native of Sutton-in-Ashfield, who married Hannah Huskinson in 1877. At the time of the 1901 census the family were living in Skegby.
His younger brother, John Edward Pryme, is also remembered on Sutton's Memorial.
