Absalom Randle

Absalom Randle died on 27th July 1916, aged 20 years, and was buried in the HEILLY STATION CEMETERY, MERICOURT-L'ABBE, Somme, France.
He was born c1896 at Stonebroom, Derbyshire and was the son of Absalom & Mary Randle. Absalom Randle snr. was a Coal Miner and a native of Warwickshire, while Mary Randle was originally from North Wingfield, Derbys.
At the time of Absalom's death the family were living at 4 Carsic Lane, Sutton, and they later moved to 106, Kirkby Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottingham.. He was the younger brother of Thomas Randle, who is also remembered on the War Memorial.
