In Memoriam - Notts Free Press - 22nd November 1918

Roberts - In loving memory of Private George William Roberts (Notts & Derbys), the beloved son of Richard & Mary Ann Roberts, who died in Rouen Hospital, France, November 6th 1918, aged 21. Could we have seen him still in life, or watched his dying bed; could we have heard his last farewell, or raised his dying head. Our hearts we think would not have felt such bitterness and grief, but God has willed it otherwise, and makes rest in peace - From loving Mother, Father, Sisters and Brothers; also brother Arthur in France.
