George Simms died on Saturday 7th September 1918, aged 19, and was commemorated on the LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.

He was the son of Mr W. Simms, and the brother of William Simms of 1, Stoneyford Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
