Arthur John Turpie died on 21st August 1915, and is remembered on the HELLES MEMORIAL, Turkey.

He was baptised on 12th June 1892 at St Catherine's Church, Nottingham to parents David John & Ruth Turpie. David  Turpie was a Tailor, and the family lived at 30 Hawkridge Street in 1892. In 1897 his father died, and his mother remarried in 1899 to John Barnsdall, who was also a Tailor.

I have yet to find a family connection with Sutton in Ashfield.
