Wilfred Walker died on Wednesday 22nd May 1918, age 19, and was buried in MAILLY WOOD CEMETERY, Somme, France.
He was born c1899 at Stanton Hill, Notts, and was the son of James & Emily Walker. James Walker was a Coal Miner, and a native of Keyworth, Notts, who resided at 115 Stanton Hill, at the time of the 1901 census. By the time of Wilfred's death they were living at 6 Lime Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
