Frank Wallace died on 19th August 1916, and was buried in the LA NEUVILLE BRITISH CEMETERY, CORBIE, Somme, France.

He was born c1895 at Sutton-in-Ashfield to parents William & Mary Wallace. William Wallace was a Coal Miner, and a native of Ruddington, while his wife (formerly Mary Scott) was born in Sutton. At the time of the 1901 census the family were living at 36 Willowbridge, Sutton. His younger brother,  Thomas Wallace, is also recorded on Sutton's War Memorial.
