Wallace - In loving memory of Private Thomas Wallace (M.G.C.), the beloved Son of William and Mary Wallace, who died in Germany, August 16th, 1918, aged 21 years. He marched away so bravely, his head so proudly held; His footsteps never faltered, his courage never failed. There on the field of battle he calmly took his place, he fought and died for England and the honour of his race. No one he loved was by his side to hear his last faint sighs, or whisper just one loving word before he closed his eyes. From Mother, Father, Sisters and Brothers.
