George Walton died on 21st September 1916, aged 33 years, and was buried in the CATERPILLAR VALLEY CEMETERY, LONGUEVAL, Somme, France.
He was born on 28th February 1883 at Bull Field, Sutton, to parents Arthur and Sarah Ann Walton. Arthur Walton was a Framework Knitter, and by the time of George's death the family resided at Wellington House, 9 Bathwood Drive, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
