William Henry Wilkinson died on Saturday 31st August 1918, aged 21 years, and was buried in the PERONNE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France.

He was born at Eastwood, Notts, to parents Mr and Mrs John Wilkinson. At the time of his death they were living at "Cloverlands," Lindley's Lane, East Kirkby, Notts.
