Thomas Wilsoncroft died on Wednesday 21st November 1917, Age 21, and is buried in ROCQUIGNY-EQUANCOURT ROAD BRITISH CEMETERY, MANANCOURT, Somme, France.

He was baptised at St Peter's Church, Mansfield, on 13th August 1896, to parents Henry and Annie Wilsoncroft of 1 Union Court. Henry Wilsoncroft was a Labourer, who married Annie Parkin at St Peter's Church Mansfield in August 1886. At the time of Thomas's death the family lived at 2 Central Street, Mansfield Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts. 

Thomas's brothers -  John Wilsoncroft and Henry Wilsoncroft - are also commemorated on Sutton's War Memorial.
