He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Allsop, of New Cross, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Allsop - In loving memory of our dear son Harold, who was killed in action in Italy, January 5th 1944. The toilful day is o'er, a bitter grief, a shock severe, to part with one we loved so dear.
