Frederick Mills died on 26th June 1943, aged 20 years, and was buried in the AALTEN (BERKENHOVE) GENERAL CEMETERY, Gelderland, Netherlands.

He was the son of Herbert Edwin and Annie Mills, of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
