John Alan Oxley died on Thursday 12 June 1941, Age 21 and is remembered on the RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL, Surrey. The Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede commemorates by name over 20,000 airmen who were lost in the Second World War who have no known graves.
He was the son of John Arthur and Maria Oxley, of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
