This property is found in the hamlet of Eastfield, on the corner of what is now known as Unwin Road.
Part of the building (mainly to the rear) is reputed to be 400 years old, and may have been an old Coaching Inn. The structure was rebuilt at the front during the early 1800's.
Luke Wass, who owned the property for at least thirty years (possibly longer), died in 1907 aged 91 years.
The building is still open and trading.
