Newcastle Arms
Located on King Street. In 1828 a Framework Knitters Arms was listed on King Street in Pigot's Directory, and I believe this was a short lived early name for the same property.
The building was listed as a Beerhouse with no name between 1856 and 1885 when it was recorded under the name Newcastle Arms for the first time.
In 2001 the Newcastle Arms was modernised and renamed "Bar Zizz". The property has recently been put up for sale.
