Ashfield - Probably built around the middle of the 20th century. Located on Kirkby Road in Sutton, and recently renovated.
Bull Inn - See under Rifleman
Cardinal Inn - Relatively modern property, built on Newark Road, Sutton around the 1960's.
Cock & Garden - Located on Eastfield Side. The Cock & Garden was the first licensed house in the vicinity. It was an old wayside inn, and a favourite spot for "Cock-fighting". It was demolished before 1856, and the hosiery factory of Messrs. F Tudsbury and Sons was built on the site. I have not been able to trace any other information about it.
Crown & Anchor - Recorded in the 1830 directory on Portland Street, in the occupation of Thomas Warren. No other record of this property.

Framework Knitters Arms - Listed in 1830 directory, a possible alternative name for what later became the Newcastle Arms.

John Barleycorn - Located on Haslam's Hill (Later Mount Street) it was occupied in 1840 by Mr W Ward. It was not listed in any directories by name, but it may have been an unnamed Beerhouse. By 1907, this was a private residence belonging to Mr T. Buckland.

Midland Hotel - See under Rifleman
Miners Arms - Located on Stoneyford Lane, this property is actually part of Stanton Hill, Skegby, although it has been mentioned in some Trade Directory entries for Sutton. It is first recorded in 1876 under the ownership of Oliver Gregory. In 1881 it was under the care of Isaac Ward, but by 1888 the occupant was Mrs Elizabeth Gregory, who was still there in 1896. By 1902 Edwin Gregory had taken over the property.

Oval - Built sometime during the middle of the 20th century as an estate pub.
Picture House - Recently opened by J. D. Wetherspoons in one of Sutton's old cinemas.

Snipe - Recently built property in the Fulwood area, at the junction of Alfreton Road with the A38 bypass.
